Dr. Sameh Mortazhejri is a postdoctoral fellow at Legacy for Airway Health and the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on applying implementation science to enhance the delivery of smoking cessation interventions across diverse healthcare settings.
She is a physician by training and completed her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa and the Centre for Implementation Research at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where her work used implementation and behavioral science frameworks to explore barriers and enablers to hepatitis C screening and treatment among immigrant populations in Canada.
