Dr. Stephanie Harvard is a Senior Scientist at Legacy for Airway Health in the UBC Division of Respiratory Medicine. She holds a joint Ph.D. from the UBC School of Population and Public Health (Vancouver) and Université Pierre et Marie Curie École doctorale Pierre Louis de Santé Publique (Paris) and has expertise in health economics, values in science and modelling, patient-oriented research and knowledge translation. She is the Co-Chair of the Lungs On Fire (LoF) Knowledge Mobilization Working Group and is leading the LoF research components on values and decision-making around health interventions for wildfire smoke. Dr. Harvard is co-author of “Scientific Models and Decision-Making” (Cambridge University Press) and is at the forefront of initiatives to involve patients and members of the public in health economics modelling. Her recent work can be read in Social Science and Medicine, Pharmacoeconomics, Value in Health, and Annals of the American Thoracic Society.
