Amin Adibi is a disease modeller and statistical researcher at the Respiratory Evaluation Sciences Program in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia and Legacy for Airway Health. He is also a health economics consultant for the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health.
In his research, Amin uses health economics, applied statistics, and machine learning techniques to predict prognosis of lung conditions, improve clinical decision-making, and evaluate potential harms and benefits of various healthcare policies. Amin is an advocate for open science and a co-founder of the Peer Models Network, a healthcare modelling accessibility initiative that empowers clinicians, scientists, and patients to access and evaluate healthcare models. Amin holds an MSc degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Calgary.
